Pick orders with Stock Scan
Pick Shopify orders bin by bin, then mark them fulfilled or buy a shipping label from your phone. Stock Scan shows orders from every connected shop for your warehouse.
Before you start
- Choose your warehouse on Home.
- Picking needs a connection. Offline, the order list may show saved data only.
- To buy labels, the shop needs Shopify Shipping set up in Shopify.
Open an order
- On Home, tap Pick orders.
- Stay on To pick. Search by order number, SKU or product if you need to.
- Tap an order. Orders marked Ready to fulfil already have picked items waiting to ship.
- Read the Order note before you start. If the note can't load, check the order in Shopify before packing.
Pick each line
- Tap Scan a product and scan the item, or tap a line to pick it without scanning.
- Scan the bin you are taking it from, or choose it from the list. Proposed for this line lists the planned bins first. If that bin holds more than one batch for this line, choose the batch.
- If you didn't scan the item, answer Is this the product? by checking the item in your hand.
- Enter the quantity you actually took.
- Tap Confirm pick.
The line moves to Picked with the bin and quantity. If you picked the wrong thing, tap Unpick on that line before you fulfil.
If the bin holds less than you entered, Stock Scan asks, for example, Only 5 in A-01 — pick 10 anyway? Tap Change to correct the quantity. Tap Pick anyway only if you really took that many.
Check the result: Every line you picked shows under Picked, with its bin and quantity.
Mark the order fulfilled
This creates a fulfillment in Shopify for the picked units.
- Tap Mark fulfilled. If your shop can buy labels, tap Fulfil and then Mark fulfilled.
- Under Units to fulfil, check the quantities. Only picked units can be sent.
- Optional: scan the waybill barcode into Tracking number (optional). Leave Carrier (optional) empty to have it read from the label.
- Turn Send shipment details to customer on or off. When it's on, Shopify emails the customer.
- Tap the confirm button, for example Mark 3 units fulfilled.
Check the result: The order shows Order fulfilled, and the status reads Fulfilled in Shopify. Anything you didn't send stays open; close the rest in Shopify Admin if it won't ship.
Buy a shipping label
Shopify charges your Shopify Shipping account for each label.
- Pick all items first.
- Tap Fulfil, then Buy label.
- Check Service, Package, Weight and Ship date. Turn on Save package for future orders if you'll reuse the box.
- Choose whether to Send shipment details to customer.
- Tap Buy label and wait for Label bought.
- Tap Print. If printing from the phone isn't available, tap Print from Shopify.
Buying a label also marks the picked items fulfilled in Shopify.
Release a line's allocation
Use this when the proposed bins for a line are wrong and nothing has been picked yet.
- On the line, tap Release allocation. On Android the button reads Release.
- Enter why under Why release this allocation?
- Tap Release (iPhone) or Release allocation (Android).
Set your default
Send shipment details to customer starts on. If you fulfil an order with it turned off, Stock Scan asks whether to Use as default. Change it later with Notify customers when marking fulfilled in Settings, on the account menu on Home. The default is saved on this phone for you.
